Car Parking Administrator
Location: West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, Bury St Edmunds/ Hybrid
Hours: Part time - 16 hours per week
Working pattern: Flexible 5 days a week Monday-Friday

About the role:
We are now searching for a Car Parking Administrator with exceptional communication and time management skills. As a Car Parking Administrator Manager, you will be monitoring and responding to queries around the car park estate and assisting in the day to day administration of the carparks. This includes responding to requests, assessing permission to park on site against current eligibility criteria, approving temporary/permanent access to site and processing refund requests for visitors and staff. Excellent verbal and written skills are therefore a must, and the successful Car Park Administrator will have previous Administration/ Customer Service and reporting experience.

To be a successful candidate, you will have a “can-do” attitude and outstanding customer service skills.The ideal candidate will have also previously worked in a similar environment and be confident to deal with complex queries from staff and members of the public in a calm and professional manner. You will be organised and able to manage your time and workload efficiently with minimal supervision.
Role requirements:
- Daily monitoring & responding to queries via the car park enquiries dedicated in box & telephone line
- Recording & reporting daily car park spaces count
- Assisting in the day to day administration of the car parks
- Response to PALS enquiries
- Response to some FOI requests
- Permits/permission to park on site
- Using trust eligibility criteria to process applications for access to site
- Maintain database for off-site parking
- Ad hoc visits to off-site parking
- Process forms for refunds to patients, visitors & staff
- Producing monthly reports for management
Person requirements:
- Experience of Customer Service within an office environment
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own workload
- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate/ Advance use of Excel to produce reports
- Analytical skills and ability to produce reports/ interrogate data
- Computer proficiency Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUp etc).
- A background in facilities management, estates, parking or retail would be an advantage, but not essential
