Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineering staff to produce electrical system designs for projects including precision positioning controls, machinery controls, safety circuits, and LV/ELV systems.
Utilise Electrical CAD software (Trimble, PAScal, SEE Electrical) to produce schematics and design documentation.
Participate in hazard analysis, risk assessments, design reviews, system verification, and validation.
Maintain and update engineering drawings and documentation.
Support physical commissioning and in-house test activities.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proficient in CAD systems, preferably SEE Electrical, with the ability to produce detailed electrical drawings.
Reliable and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Competent in using computers and MS Office or Google Workspace.
Background in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering.
Excellent communication skills and a team player.
Competence in at least one of the following: Electrical Design, Electrical cubicle/rack design, precision motion control, safety circuits, low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers, or distributed I/O.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
Engineering Council registration and membership of a relevant professional body.
Experience in project management/engineering and working within a QA system.
Technical document writing skills.
Other Requirements:
Must be available to work at the office at least three days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely for two days.
Willingness to travel occasionally for work-related business, including some overnight stays.
