Our client is looking for a building safety coordinator to join them on a short term temporary basis This role is to cover a piece of work that is needing attention immediately. There is potential to extend if the work required continues. This role will not be line managing staff for the duration of the project work it is intended for. The role is required for a piece of work relating to data management and fire risk assessment remedial.
Key responsibilities:
Keep up to date with changes in legislation and best practice within the building safety industry
Provide expert advice on complex issues and interpretation of policy, procedure and legislation
Through the application of appropriate project methodology, manage, support and monitor progress of building safety projects and policy development ensuring objectives (e.g. time/cost and quality) are met.
Undertake research, developing expertise on subjects affecting building safety identifying opportunities and risks, lead on discrete projects, and coordinate project teams or working groups.
Work with the Building Safety team members to prepare, monitor and deliver building safety cases in conjunction with consultants, internal stakeholders, external surveyors and ensure timely reviews are planned and undertaken.You will need:
