Children's Assistant Team Manager
Job Summary
Service Care Solutions are seeking a dynamic and innovative Children's Assistant Team Manager to undertake a busy role within the Safeguarding and Reviewing Service at Hackney Council. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for covering both Child Protection and Looked After Children Processes. This would include duty safeguarding consultations, as well as chairing Child Protection Conferences and Looked After Reviews.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive knowledge and skill-base to the challenge of working with vulnerable children and families
Manage and develop staff and best practice
Ensure positive good outcomes and stability for children and families across the borough
Contribute to organisational learning through recognising, promoting and supporting best practice and service development
Requirements
Relevant professional social work degree
Current registration with Social Work England
5 years post qualifying experience
Evidence of continuing professional development
Enhanced DBS check is required
