Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £50k - £55k
Hours of Work: 40 Hours Monday – Friday

A specialist sub-contractor to construction projects now require an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Duties of a Quantity Surveyor
Lead project oversight from inception to completion, ensuring meticulous cost control.
Collaborate with clients to evaluate project feasibility and refine proposals.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of material quantities, costs, and resource requirements pre-tender.
Provide continuous support throughout project lifecycle, overseeing subcontractors and construction phases.
Cultivate strong client and team relationships, facilitating seamless collaboration.
Offer mentorship, share best practices, and actively contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives.
Manage application processes and documentation, maintaining cash flow forecasts.
Adhere to ISO standards and policies, including ISO9001/14001/ISO 45001.
Ensure timely submission of project-related applications and payment certificates.
It is essential or preferrable that you have the following experience, qualifications or skills;
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field.
Membership in professional associations within the industry is advantageous.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or related sectors.
Proficiency in ISO standards and construction regulations.
Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
Expertise in cost control, financial analysis, and reporting.
Meticulous attention to detail and methodical approach to work.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
