Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the North West of England. As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing complex contracts and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This Contracts Manager position offers a competitive salary of £75,000+ plus a comprehensive package, including a car or allowance, to support your role.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Oversee all aspects of contract administration, ensuring compliance with legal, contractual, and company requirements.
Project Delivery: Manage the successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring all project goals are met.
Budget Control: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor financial performance, and report on progress to senior management.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, subcontractors, local authorities, and other stakeholders to maintain effective
communication and relationships.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure all work meets project specifications and industry standards.
Health and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety across all sites.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in contract management within the civil engineering and infrastructure sectors.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Solid understanding of budgeting and financial management.
Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
