We are looking for an experienced, driven and enthusiastic Registered Manager for our new Emotional and Behavioural Children’s Home. We are opening this residential children’s home in the area of Wolverhampton.

We are a company that has other residential children’s homes, but are currently expanding and opening a new home in Willenhall. We provide services to children and young people between the ages of 8 and 17 years. The successful registered manager will support children and young people for as long as required.
The requirements for role:

Registered Managers must be willing to complete or hold Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People’s Residential Management) qualification within two years of the date they started employment.

Experience within Residential childcare (2year minimum), Child Protection, Therapeutic Work and Supervision of staff.

Knowledge regarding Children's Act 1989, Children’s Home Regulations 2015, Care Standards Act 2000, Safeguarding children’s procedures, Direct work skills, Management Systems and Children’s rights.

Leadership Skills, be able to manage time well, computer literacy, hold staff supervision, well-developed written and verbal communication.

Management of budgets and projects.

Be competent in managing and creating staff rotas.

Need to be committed in achieving the best outcome for children, and flexible in achieving objectives.

To be willing to continuing personal development and keeping yourself current with latest regulations, policies and procedures.
