The consultancy specialises in residential, education, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and student accommodation sectors.
The Principal Designer's Role
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and promoting best practices in health and safety.
The Principal Designer will
Develop and review Construction Phase Plans (CPPs) and Pre-construction Information (PCIs)
Manage design risk and provide CDM advice to clients and design teams
Conduct health and safety audits and inspections
Facilitate CDM workshops and training sessions
The successful Principal Designer
A strong background in construction or design with specific Principal Design delivery experience
Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety
Membership with professional bodies such as IOSH or APS
Proven experience working within a consultancy environment
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A proactive and positive attitude with commitment to continuous professional development
