We are looking to recruit a fulltime, permanent Administrator, to work in our clients fast paced and busy office in Long Hanborough. The primary role of the administrator is to provide administrative support to the office manager, project managers, engineers and directors.
The successful candidate will need to be able to prioritise and multitask to a high level whilst having excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone. Previous Administrator experience (5 years minimum) is required including diary management.
This is a Mon to Fri, 9am-5pm role with 30 minutes for lunch. The salary is £22,000-£26,000 dependant on experience with 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. The current office has a team of 5 people that they are looking to grow to improve efficiency and workload, they are a very friendly and welcoming group of people who are looking forward to someone joining them on a long-term basis, existing employees in this team have been there anything from 6 months to 11 years! As part of this team, you will be working to organise and manage a group of 24 people across the company from Directors to Engineers.
Administrator duties to include:
Answer high volume of calls, take messages, book appointments and diary manage for the engineers, project manager and directors
Place purchase orders for materials and equipment
Create and send quotations
Sending and closing down the engineer job sheets and schedule follow up work
Stock control for the office i.e. stationary and other supplies
Send monthly service reminders to customer
Respond to general customer enquiries
Archive folders, shredding, post, franking and general administrative tasks
