Interaction Accountancy and Finance are actively recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well established business based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
Working in a standalone role, as part of a wider finance team this is a key role within the team, where typical duties include:
Reporting and updating debtor list
Identify outstanding debt and prioritise collection
Chase overdue invoices
Negotiate and maintain payment plans where required
Maintain aged debt spreadsheet, providing report to the Head of Finance
Daily bank reconciliation
Allocation of payments and payment of refunds
Other duties required to support the team
Successful applicants must have the following skills and experience:
Previous experience of a similar role in a small business environment
Able to work to to deadlines with a high level of attention to detail
Team player with a 'can do' attitude
Willing to learn and develop
