Senior Technology Manager
Salary: £42,000 - £56,800
Location: Cambridge, Hybrid, minimum of 2 days a week in the office
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
We are looking for a strategic and technically proficient person with a proven track record in managing technology projects. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver who can effectively oversee and deliver results under pressure. While not directly a technical position, the candidate will need to have a good understanding of web-based technologies (including an understanding of the challenges of delivering computer-based testing) and a passion for driving innovation.
The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented and organised professional with a background in defining technical project requirements and project management, as well has having excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Technology Manager to contribute to the management and development of our core multi-level testing platform, Metrica. This role involves close collaboration with product and technical teams to ensure platform stability, identify product improvements, and deliver high-quality solutions. You will play a pivotal role in managing key aspects of the platform, including delivery systems, product setups, test publishing, and user acceptance testing.
Key Responsibilities include:

Manage development and delivery of Metrica platform and integrated systems

Oversee product setups and test publishing processes

Lead user acceptance testing efforts

Manage the tracking and realisation of benefits

Manage technology incidents and ensure platform stability.
This is a high-impact role requiring strategic thinking, decision-making, and the ability to work closely with others.
