Rate: Negotiable based on experience
Work Schedule: Opportunity for 6 to 7 days a week
Fairmead is excited to present an exceptional opportunity on behalf of our valued and longstanding client, a reputable principal contractor based in Cambridge. We are seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to join their existing team and oversee the final stages of a prestigious new build college project.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive the project to completion with a focus on high-quality finishes.

Oversee all finishing trades, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.

Conduct thorough inspections of completed work, ensuring all details meet project specifications and client expectations.

Coordinate with subcontractors and trades to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.

Identify and resolve any issues or defects promptly to maintain project timelines.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
Requirements:

SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
-
First Aid certificate.
-
CSCS card.
-
Extensive knowledge of internal finishes and keen eye for detail.

Ideally from a trade background with significant experience in new build or refurbishment projects within the education or commercial sectors.

Proven track record of success in similar roles, with strong references to support your application.

Ability to work on site 6 to 7 days a week until the end of the contract.
