Facilities Contracts Manager

Salary: £60,000We are seeking a Facilities Contracts Manager to join our Infrastructure Team. This pivotal role involves overseeing the transition to a new Facilities Management provider and managing the ongoing relationship. The successful candidate will ensure Health & Safety compliance, best practice, and value through effective contract management across a diverse property portfolio.
Day to Day of the role:
Oversee the management and delivery of hard and soft service contracts, including building fabric, M&E, civils, and landscaping.
Authorise unbudgeted works within set limits and manage Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) software.
Ensure all maintenance works are in line with service level agreements and key performance indicators.
Conduct audits and compliance checks in accordance with statutory guidelines and SFG20 standards.
Travel across the UK to audit, inspect works, and assess that PPM and reactive tasks are being undertaken.
Collaborate with financial colleagues on accruals, budgeting, and asset lifecycle costing.
Develop business cases, reports, and drive continuous improvement within a challenging property environment.
Apply contract management methodology, including programme planning, reporting, budget management, risk management, and cashflow forecasting.
Work with team members to improve project communication, delivery, processes, and quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong background in facilities management and property, with knowledge in hard services and understanding of soft services.
Proficiency in IT, including Office 365 and CAFM software platforms for report writing and data analysis.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication, and negotiation.
Flexible approach to working and willingness to travel across the UK.
Experience in transport is not essential but beneficial.
