CHEF MANAGER ROLE
Together with our client we are looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Chef Manager to join their team in Cambridge. This is a permanent and full time opportunity and will be based on site in Cambridge.

A day in the life of a Chef Manager:
- Oversee and manage food production (breakfast and lunch)
- Lead and manage the team of 3 to include their day to day activities and all relevant training and performance
- Build and manage the client relationship and other key stakeholder relationships
- Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
- Select and develop recipes as well as standardise production recipes to ensure quality
- Drive promotions and the culinary concept
- Ensure accurate equipment operation/maintenance and ensures proper safety and sanitation in kitchen
- Check that all supplies are a specified quality and not breaching purchasing policy as outlined by purchasing
- Supervise portion numbers, control food wastage on site and take appropriate action as the need arises
- Day to day finances and administration
You'll be set up for success if you have:
- Experience as a Chef/ Catering Manager in a contract catering environment
- The ability to lead and manage a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative
