We are recruiting a suitably experienced Senior Buyer for our client in Sheffield, to have responsibility for all indirect and Capex purchasing requirements of the business.
Joining this business will allow an accomplished Senior Buyer to play a pivotal role in driving financial success through smart, efficient, and impactful purchasing decisions.

Areas of responsibility for the Senior Buyer include:
Reviewing and revising any current supplier contracts/SLAs, including transition to new options where identified
Sourcing new suppliers for any new purchasing needs
Supporting the project teams in sourcing new CAPEX items
Supplier onboarding & compliance requirements
Overhauling current purchase order process, including systems amendments/development, processes and procedure updates
Developing robust expenditure reporting practices in line with budgetary requirements
Identifying areas of the business for cost reduction/efficiencies, including development of KPIs
Support in the creation of the company 2025 budget
Manage 1 supporting team member
To be successful in your application you must have previous experience in purchasing, ideally within indirects and/or Capex.
