What you’ll be doing:
Assessing Claims: Manage property damage claims from start to finish, evaluating damage, reviewing policy coverage, and determining the extent of the insurer’s liability.
Client Interaction: Offer professional assistance to clients via phone, email, and occasionally in-person meetings, ensuring their concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate records of claims, including all communications, photographs, estimates, and relevant documentation to ensure comprehensive claim files.
Negotiation: Skilfully negotiate settlements with clients, contractors, and other parties to ensure fair and timely resolutions.
Co-operation: Work closely with team members, including
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, policy changes, and best practices to enhance your knowledge and expertise in property claims handling.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in property claims handling or a related field.

Strong knowledge of insurance policies and regulations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree is preferred.
