Apple Recruitment are recruiting for a Project Administrator on behalf of the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Business Services Organisation
Job Purpose:
The Project Administrator will provide administrative support to the equip Programme team, assisting the team to ensure that the Programme is delivered in an efficient, effective and high quality manner.
Job Description:

Responsible for the organisation and provision of administrative duties and project support to the equip Programme. This will include diary management, minute taking, word processing, mail management, file maintenance and the preparation of papers, reports, briefings etc. to ensure that programme requirements are met.

Research, collation and presentation of information and reports as necessary.

Assist programme team in the maintenance of project controls and standards

Drafting correspondence and reports on behalf of the equip Programme and Project Managers.

To maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external, maintaining appropriate communication networks and presenting a professional image at all times.

Engage in personal and professional development to maintain a high level of relevant knowledge and skills.

Participate in the BSO’s Staff Development and Performance Review Scheme.

Support the PMO Manager to embed best practice approaches to the structure and management of project documentation to ensure comprehensive project records are maintained
-
Establish and promote a supportive, fair and open culture that encourages and enables all parts of the team to have clearly aligned goals and objectives, to meet the required performance standards and to achieve continuous improvement in the services they deliver.

Assist The BSO in fulfilling its statutory duties under Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 to promote equality of opportunity and good relations and under the Disability Discrimination (Northern Ireland) Order 2006. Staff are also required to support The BSO in complying with its obligations under Human Rights Legislation.

Essential Criteria:
Applicants must, by the closing date for applications, have:
- a) GCSE Mathematics & English (Grades A-C)
OR
Equivalent qualification to demonstrate literacy and numeracy
OR
Higher qualification AND 2 x A Levels or equivalent
OR
Higher qualification AND have at least 18 months admin / clerical experience or equivalent, involving extracting and collating information from computerised information systems
OR
b) 3 years admin / clerical experience

Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point

Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by The Organisation which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.
