We are currently seeking a Supervision Officer for a 12-month fixed term contract for our Douglas-based Client, a leader in fiduciary services, fund administration, and management and investment advice compliance.The Supervision Officer will be responsible for:

General administration including filing, data input, processing of documents received, attending meetings and note taking

Assist with processing of regulatory returns of regulated entities

Assist with administration of new authorisation and registration applications, changes in existing permissions and surrender of authorisations and de-registration

Assist in conducting on site visits and desk based reviews
-
Research for the purposes of fit and proper assessments and assist with compiling information in connection with other regulatory matters

Assist with ongoing development of internal systems and controls
-
Deal with public enquiries (including complaints against regulated entities) in a courteous and constructive manner

Deal with ad hoc telephone queries
The Ideal candidate for the role of Supervision Officer will be:
-
Educated to GCSE level or above and/or equivalent qualification
-
Experience working in the Non-Life or associated industry

Experience of working within an office environment and/or as part of a team
-
Experience of taking detailed notes/minutes for meetings

Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
-
Strong organisational skills, including accuracy, attention to detail, record keeping and filing

Ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team
-
Ability to provide administrative support as needed

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
