The helpdesk receptionist is in charge of welcoming or certifying clients or individuals who enter the company, or businesses, contacting them for enquiries, collecting visitor identities, assigning, coordinating and arranging to meet visitor demands.
Your Time at Work
Position: Receptionist
Location: Wakefield
Pay Rate: £12.98 per hour
Hours: Full time contracted to 40 hours a week
Shifts: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:00
SIA license preferred, otherwise training can be provided for suitable candidates.
- Issuing contractor / visitor passes and obtaining contractors details; confirm identification and record personal details into approved site register before issuing access passes
- Issue temporary door access pass if required.
- Monitor P badges to ensure that they are in date
- Accountability and receipt of all lost/found property handed in to security.
- Obtain signature on Health Declaration and ensure all visitors and contractors have
completed the document.
- Monitoring termination / re-issue of access passes reported lost, stolen, damaged,
and defaced.
- Liaise with the site contact to notify that their contactor / visitor has arrived
- Inform all visitors / contractors of relevant Fire Evacuation point.
- Upon leaving site, collect Contractor pass, ensure properly signed on to and off site
by CCEP contact and record contractor as having left the site.
- Maintain all access cards and monitor on ProWatch daily to ensure that additional
access is removed.
- Carry out Key audits, checks of the night sheet and ProWatch daily
- Administration of permits
- Maintaining the Monthly Stats daily to ensure that the figures are accurate
- Support the Security team when required
- Monthly SIA Licence checks
- Weekly tests of the Helpdesk panic alarm with the Security team and record the
findings
- Bag Searches for all new visitors / contractors to site and recorded
- Administration duties for the Security Manager
- Carrying out any other duties as instructed by the Security Manager as
required in the job specification.
- Ensuring accurate and up to date security officer personal details
