Our client, a prominent name in the construction sector, is seeking a Stores Operative for a contract position at their Sevenoaks depot.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the maintenance of the stores area, maintaining its stock for key items
Checking large quantities of power tools for usability, conducting PAT testing, and recording inventory
Receiving delivered goods, ensuring quality and quantity against purchase orders
Maintain and manage the stores in a methodical manner
Offloading delivery vehicles using a forklift
Providing operational support to the Plant and Fleet Manager
Undertaking inventory audits
General warehouse duties
Job Requirements:
Experience in stores, materials, or stock control
Counterbalance forklift licence
Local to Sevenoaks
Full UK driving licence
Able to perform manual handling tasks up to a weight limit of 25kg
Working Hours:
07:30 - 16:00
Start Date:
12th Aug 2024 for approximately 1 month
