About the Role:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Administrator to join Dorset Council's team at the Wareham Waste Depot. This is a temporary position offering an hourly rate of £12.18. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks at the depot.
Day-to-Day Duties:
Handling and processing administrative paperwork
Maintaining and updating records and databases
Managing phone calls and correspondence (emails, letters, packages)
Supporting the team with various administrative tasks
Preparing reports and managing schedules
Coordinating meetings
Ensuring compliance with Council policies and proceduresRequirements and Qualifications:
Previous experience in an administrative role is essential
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
