This role involves analysing requirements to derive product architecture specifications and working either individually or with a team to transform these architectures into designs and implementations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proven, high level experience in electronics architecture, design, and development.

Identify opportunities in product development that will provide innovation and benefits to the customer.
Have knowledge of and be able to interpret compliance standards.
Have a good understanding of modern manufacturing techniques for volume production.
Have an appreciation of full design lifecycles from cradle to grave.SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:
Essential:
A proven engineering background in Electronics product architecting and design (Best practice in circuit design, schematic entry, prototyping and circuit simulation, multilayer PCB layout techniques).
Have an awareness of market, application and customer needs and should offer creative and innovative input to new products, services or features and application of modern technologies.
Have detailed knowledge of, and the ability to implement using complex compliance standards e.g., EMC, Safety.Desirable:
Extensive experience in a new product development environment, with a proven track record of successful delivery to customers.
A good understanding of embedded microprocessor, analogue and digital design.
Working within an ISO9000 approved process or similar.
Working in multi-disciplined design teams potentially split geographically.
Experience and ability to act as technical lead of smaller teams of electronics engineers.
Design for manufacture and testability.
Experience of New Product Introduction into local or remote manufacturing facilities.
Design and specification of Human Machine Interfaces.

Delivering outcomes on Time critical Projects.QUALIFICATIONS:
A degree in a relevant discipline would be an advantage but relevant experience would be considered as an alternative.
