We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Clerk to become a vital part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of payroll, maintaining precise payroll records, and resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
Payroll Clerk Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly payroll, including generating new payroll reports and creating profiles for new employees.
- Process payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate payroll records.
- Generate detailed payroll reports for management review.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and promptly resolve any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all relevant legislation and industry best practices.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of payroll data.
- Calculate and process variable timesheets, including shift and hourly calculations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent IT skills, with a strong proficiency in MS Excel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail, capable of producing accurate work under pressure.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Proficiency in English.
