Field Service Engineer

This businesses offers Managed Print Services solution to customers in Belfast and across NI and ROI.
Role purpose
The servicing of existing customers’ machines and to ensure that customer relationships are maintained. To contribute to the overall success of the company by passing on information on business development opportunities to the Sales Team. There may be specific responsibilities in relation to requirements for certain contracts that the Company has with customers. These will be discussed with you as appropriate.
What you will be doing
• Put customers and people at the heart of all activity ensuring the customers are treated as people and people as customers at all times
• Represent the company by own appearance and behaviours in line with the delivery of world class standards
• Develop and maintain excellent customer relations
• Provide field support for sales and end users
• Provide on-site technical product support and/or installation. Execute a standard of service that promotes the firm successfully and gains approval from customers to maintain the position as a sole/preferred supplier
• Maintain ongoing service/support profitability
• Promote continuous improvement personally and within the organisation
• Service and maintain copiers and other office products
• Electro-mechanical fault-finding and maintenance
• Electric, electronic and IT-based problem solving
• Deal with customer complaints and problems, and report to NI Service Manager
• Manage time effectively to achieve the key performance indicators for the role, understanding the key ratios (activity to be successful, including delivering in line with SLA’s)
• Ensure that all business transactions written are in line with Company policies and standards
• Observe H&S, HR & Company procedures at all times and ensure that the company assets are kept to the required standard
• Carry out other projects/duties
• To take opportunities to identify improved digital imaging solutions for customers and explain/demonstrate the benefits of the range of business solutions
• Pass information on business development opportunities to the Sales Team
• Attend & participate in meetings as requested
• Utilise the support available from other departments to maximum effect
• Appraise own performance and contribute towards own development of the knowledge & skills required to achieve results
• Attend training and contribute towards own improvement as requested
What are we looking for?
An ideal candidate will have Electro-mechanical fault-finding and maintenance experience with office equipment and particularly production print machines

Salary competitive circa £25-33k DOE plus Company car, full clean Licence required
Full-time perm contract, full training will be provided
Working hours 8.30 to 5
