Your new role
As Assistant Accountant you will undertake the following main reposponsibilities:
Sales Ledger:
Review outstanding sales orders weekly
Review Aged Debtors weekly and correct issues
Credit Control
Calculating money in for cash flow
Retentions ManagementPayroll:
Weekly Payroll processing
Weekly Pensions upload
Update payroll summary weekly and post Sage journals
Post Sage payroll journals
Manage and pay any AOE orders or deductionsBank:
Daily bank reconciliations
All payments as requiredFinancial Management:
Quarterly VAT returns
Monthly CIS returns
Any reporting as required by the management team
PAYE/NI Reconciliation - P32
What you'll need to succeed
The candidate should be hard-working, reliable and able to manage their own workload.Needs to be able to work independently and as part of a team.
This is an exciting role and will span across multiple companies.
Qualifications:
AAT Qualified
Strong IT Skills, Excel proficient
Sage 50 and Xero Experience
