We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Helpline Operator to join a growing team in our fun and social Glasgow office (hybrid working option after training).
A snapshot of your day or A day in the life of…

Act as the first point of contact for clients, scheme members, their representatives and other organisations
-
Answer a high volume of calls, promptly, providing a professional response at all times
-
Report any faults in the internal call system and any systems connected to the telephone software
-
Implement and apply business continuity procedures during the failure of the call system and communicate with colleagues
-
Maintaining the Penstream database and preparing related correspondence
-
Printing, filing, photocopying and scanning, Handling the post,
We would love to hear from if you have:

Excellent telephone and verbal communication skills
-
An understanding of Microsoft Office programmes, in particular Word and Outlook.

Customer service or call handling experience
-
Experience working in an office within a team environment is beneficial.

The ability to remain calm under pressure, and remain polite and courteous to clients and staff.

Good organisational skills
