Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Audit Manager to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview: As an Assistant Audit Manager, you will manage audit assignments, set budgets, negotiate fees, and raise invoices. You will also be involved in business development and networking events and maintain professional relationships with clients. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish budgets and negotiate fees for audit assignments
Generate invoices and manage financial aspects of audit projects
Take part in business development and networking events to promote the firm
Communicate with clients professionally, addressing their needs and concerns
Review and complete audit files, highlighting key issues and ensuring quality standards
Assist with fieldwork and have responsibility for specific audit assignments
Collaborate closely with audit directors and other senior management on various assignments
The Ideal Candidate:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and flexible in approach.
ACA or ACCA qualified.
Minimum of 2 years of post-qualified audit experience in a UK accountancy firm.
Solid knowledge of UK GAAP and relevant auditing standards
