They now require a Planning & Technical Coordinator to join their them on a full time and permanent basis.
Role Overview
Main Purpose:
- Coordinate consultants and agencies on planning, technical, and engineering design for development sites.
- Act as Principal Designer (CDM).
- Serve as liaison between the business and Local Planning Authorities, building control, and utility/service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Design Coordination: Oversee design revisions and compliance with building regulations.
Liaison: Communicate with consultants, authorities, and service providers for approvals and services.
Site Visits: Regularly inspect sites for compliance with standards.
Surveys & Reports: Organise necessary surveys and investigations.
Consultant Management: Appoint and manage consultants, including budget oversight.
Technical Review: Analyse data for cost-effective design solutions.
Document Control: Manage and distribute project documents.
Additional Duties
Team Collaboration: Work with commercial, production, and sales teams, addressing queries and requests.
Regulatory Compliance: Instruct on highways, drainage, and planning agreements; ensure CDM compliance.
CAD Skills: Utilise CAD or similar software.
Affordable Housing: Liaise with providers and ensure compliance.
Health & Safety: Maintain CDM and safety standards.
