MM Search are delighted to be working exclusively with Scott Pallets to find their new Business Development Manager. As a BDM at Scott Pallets, you will deliver profitable business growth by securing new business, within targeted sectors, to specified value, volume and contribution level.
Key Accountabilities

Collaborate and contribute to the development of the sales strategy

Research and identify new business opportunities - including, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.

Develop products & service knowledge to deliver an effective & positive customer impact

Work in collaboration with the marketing function to develop and present promotional activities (e.g. Market communications, sale collateral, use of platforms like Linkedin)

Manage internal stakeholder relationships in order to optimise new business capture and retention.

Maintain and develop external networking activities including industry bodies

Identify, monitor and act upon trends and changes in market with regards to legislation and regulation and their impact on prospective customers.

Maintain and develop the sales pipeline in order to ensure there are always sufficient, qualified opportunities ‘in the pipe’ to deliver the revenue and profit targets required.

Grow business volumes by building relationships with key customer targets

Analyse key sales data to present an insight to forecasts and analysis.

This is a fully remote role which offers a competitive salary up to 50k and a company car
