Kinetic Industrial are recruiting for an Administrator (Part-Time) for a Reading based client. The successful applicant will be working for a well-known medical devices company who have a global presence, and a great reputation within their industry.
This is a part-time, temporary to permanent, office based position based in Reading where you will be required to work 20 hours per week - Monday and Tuesday 8am to 5pm, and Wednesday 8am to 12:30pm.
As an Administrator, you will be:
- Providing excellent customer service, e.g. answering telephone calls and dealing with customers.
- Completing duties such as filing, photocopying, recording of invoices and raising of purchase / sales orders
- Keeping and maintaining records for medical devices
- Ordering and maintenance of stock to agreed levels
- Participating in monthly stock taking
- Accountability, distribution and control of petty cash.
- Supporting the administration of HR related activities as and when required
- Assisting in the arrangement of meetings, conferences and any internal or external events. Ensuring catering arrangements and equipment bookings are in place
- Undertaking any other duties or tasks as reasonably required
Requirements:
- Educated to a good general standard with demonstrable verbal and numerical abilities
- Minimum NVQ Business Administration Level 2 or equivalent required
- Previous experience in an administrative / customer service position
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
- Must be willing to work flexible hours if the need arises
- Work in a team environment
