Zest Optical are partnered with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Service Manager for the UK & Ireland into their senior leadership team.
The business is well-established as one of the leading manufacturers of smart and efficient instruments and technologies in the optical industry, and your role will take on full responsibility for 3 core areas with full P&L responsibility for the service division.
Service Manager - Role
Take full P&L responsibility for the UK & Irish service department
Manage an outsourced service agreement with service partners
Oversee internal service and support teams, including staff management and training
Recruit service engineers and support staff
Develop and nurture relationships with key customers, attend regular meetings, and ensure delivery of KPIs
Attend regular meetings internal and external, with clients, service partners, staff and senior management teamService Manager - Requirements
Proven background in a service management or operations management role within the healthcare sector
Possess a technical/IT qualification, ideally to degree level
Be a technically focused Service Manager who is confident and articulate
UK and oversea travel with overnight stays required at timesService Manager - Package
Base salary up to £70,000
Bonus up to £20,000
