Logistics Administrator
Role Overview:
Support the Supply Chain function to meet business supply requirements, manage preferred suppliers, and ensure smooth third-party operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and new factories with the Logistics Lead.
Assess new factories for product capabilities, capacity, and alignment with company objectives.
Liaise with suppliers/factories as directed.
Stay updated on trends, innovations, and technologies to enhance services.
Support quality control and compliance standards in new factories.
Ensure ethical, diverse, and sustainable company values.
Coordinate with suppliers, shipping companies, and third-party warehouses for timely deliveries.
Foster positivity within the Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Compliance teams.
Support customer project teams with updates in emails and meetings.
Collaborate with internal departments for efficient task execution.
Assist the Logistics Lead in developing new projects and processes.
Oversee warehouse capacity usage for efficiency.
Proactively communicate supply chain delays and escalate potential risks.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of supply chain best practices. Essential Skills and Attributes:
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Strong numeracy skills for data analysis.
Problem-solving ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Understanding of shipping manifests, international freight, and supply chain.
Strong planning, organisational, and administrative skills.
Effective time management and deadline delivery.
Willingness to work extra hours if needed.
Adaptability to change and development.
