Contract Scotland are working closely with a prominent regional build contractor based in Livingston to source a highly experienced Site Manager or Project Manager. Our client works across a range of sectors, including commercial, education, community and industrial, and has a strong focus on providing a high-quality product and service and creating and maintaining positive working relationships. They boast strong staff retention and a history of promoting from within.
You will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Leading and managing site teams, including subcontractors and suppliers.
- Developing and implementing project plans and schedules.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitoring project progress and preparing regular reports.
- Coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Managing site logistics and resource allocation.
- Resolving any issues or conflicts that arise on-site.

Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Be degree qualified in a construction-related field or come from a trade background.
- Have demonstrable management experience within the construction industry.
- Have experience leading projects from inception to completion.
- Be a driven and strategic individual who is confident and motivated in working collaboratively toward the success of a shared goal.
