Job Title: Part-time HR Assistant – 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Near Aylesbury
Salary: circa £30Kp/a pro rata DOE + excellent benefits
Hours of Work: Part-time - 24 hours per week (flexible)
A rare opportunity to join a fast-growing, progressive and successful engineering-based organisation as a part-time HR Assistant, initially on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This is a new role requiring the successful candidate to support the company through a period of growth.
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will be involved in a range of activities including assisting with the recruitment process, supporting talent development processes including the upkeep and refinement of L&D procedures, assist with onboarding and employee engagement initiatives and provide first line support to the team on basic performance management issues and other HR matters.
Skills & Experience required:

Experience in key aspects of the employee lifecycle, with demonstrable experience of working directly with employees and stakeholders,

Ability to work collaboratively and on own initiative,

CIPD qualification an advantage but not essential,

Organised, methodical approach with ability to manage varied projects,

Ability to work under time pressure and without direct supervision,

Ability to interpret and present information easily to leadership and wider teams,

Good understanding of GDPR and associated data management requirements,

Previous experience working within an engineering-based environment desirable but not essential.
