We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our leadership team and help us continue providing outstanding care.

Hours: Full-time
Salary: £28,000 , 40 hours per week (alternate weekends required)
Role Overview: As the Deputy Care Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. Working closely with the Care Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the home, support staff development, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Care Manager in the overall management and operation of the residential home.
Lead and motivate the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
Oversee care planning, assessments, and reviews to ensure individual needs are met.
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and other legislative requirements.
Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment for residents, their families, and staff.
Handle administrative duties, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
Act as a point of contact for residents and their families, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within a care home setting.
NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it), or equivalent qualification.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards.
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
