Are you looking for a Hygiene Manager role in a growing business who have a progressive attitude and approach, where Hygiene and Technical are well regarded and are critical to the business performance? This food business has developed strong customer relationships due to its collaborative approach and customer care focus. Their have a fantastic range of branded products complimented by the own label ranges.
The site is looking for a Hygiene Manager who is visible on the shop floor and will enjoy developing the Hygiene team and work collaboratively with other functions in this positive and 'one team' focussed business.
The Role
To manage and develop the Hygiene team, putting Hygiene at the core of the factory being visible and working across all departments.
Consistently monitor and maintain the hygiene systems working with data to provide the correct insight to improve hygiene processes.
Be the subject matter expert on site driving improvements through coaching, educating and providing insightful feedback.
Management of the department budget.
Working closely with production, quality and HSE.
To ensure that Hygiene KPIs are measured, and actions reviewed and delivered.
Being a proactive presence in the business, identifying and resolving potential issues.
Reporting into the Technical function.

The ideal background for this role
Hygiene management experience in the food industry.
Food hygiene Level 3, HACCP Level 3, CoSHH, IOSH and Supervising Food Safety level 3.
Previous managerial experience.
Able communicator to liaise cross functionally on all hygiene related issues.
Strong organisation skills, able to prioritise autonomously.
Detailed understanding of cleaning processes.
Confident operator, able to build rapport with ease.
Good attention to detail for all audit preparation, training and cleaning records.
