This pivotal role will oversee the financial activities within the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance while driving efficiency and profitability. The Role:
As the Accounts Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the finance department, overseeing a team of finance professionals, and ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely. Your expertise will contribute to the strategic financial planning and support the company’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage the finance team to ensure efficient transaction processing.

Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and reports.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.

Coordinate and lead the budgeting and forecasting processes.

Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.

Manage payroll, billing, receivables, payables, cash receipts, cash disbursements, and general ledger functions.

Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Liaise with external auditors and other advisors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.

Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a finance management role, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
