We exist as a charity to support people with autism as little or as often as they need us. We are fortunate enough to have a remarkable property and estates department in which the team support in all areas from adult services, Portfield School, 19-25 Futures and charity hub.
Due to our growth we are looking to recruit a Head of Properties & Facilities to oversee facility operations.
The role would include:

Preparing comprehensive tender documents including specifications and terms & conditions

Conducting in depth market research to identify potential suppliers and contractors

Leading on all project management ensuring timelines are met, budgets are adhered to and high quality works carried out.

Calculating and comparing costs for required goods

Negoiating contracts and service level agreements

Investigating options for new premises, taking into account size, location, cost and potential rennovation. Site visits would also be included

Liaising with all external stakeholders such as local authority, estate agents and property owners

Creating detailed floor plans

Conducting regular audits and risk assessments to ensure all building health and safety requirements are met.
