Belmont recruitment are currently looking for experienced criminal justice workers to work in a senior permanent role as team leader within the recovery services for a private charity, this role will have you working both remotely and traveling between the different services across London.
Job Overview
Position: Team Leader, Dependency and Recovery Services
Location: Tower Hamlets and Stoke Newington Probation Offices, with travel across Tower Hamlets/Hackney and City
Model: Hybrid (In-person and Virtual)
Hours: Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:00

The organisation delivers Commissioned Rehabilitative Services (CRS) directly for HMPPS, including Accommodation, Dependency and Recovery, and Personal Wellbeing across various regions in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
As a Team Leader in the Dependency and Recovery Services, your responsibilities will include:

Team Management: Leading a team of practitioners delivering Dependency and Recovery Services to adult males under probation supervision.

Client Engagement: Improving client engagement in treatment services, bridging the gap between probation and substance misuse services.

Stakeholder Relationships: Building and maintaining positive working relationships with probation practitioners and stakeholders.

Project Delivery: Ensuring smooth project delivery, attending essential meetings, and promoting the work we do.

Staff Support: Providing coaching and practical support to enable staff to thrive.

Case Management: Managing a small number of complex cases, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

Performance Targets: Delivering on performance targets set by Forward Trust and Commissioners.

Data Management: Ensuring data accuracy and submission deadlines are met.

Leadership: Acting as the most senior representative when required, deputizing for the Service Manager.

Experience: Demonstrable experience in team management, performance, and development.

Relationship Management: Experience in managing key relationships both internally and externally.

Policy Implementation: Knowledge and experience of implementing formal procedures and policies.

Skills: Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, project, and time management skills.

Sector Knowledge: Understanding of the issues facing service users in the criminal justice sector.

Case Management: Experience in managing high caseloads, conducting risk assessments, creating SMART action plans, and maintaining effective case records.

Qualifications: Management qualification at Level 3 or comparable role experience.
