We are a recruiting for a Customer Compliance Support Advisor to join a successful and growing company based in St Albans. The main purpose of the role is to support the Head of Compliance with the monitoring of client accounts and due diligence. It is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into a compliance role or perhaps you are looking to further your customer service career!

Key responsibilities for the Customer Compliance Support Advisor:
- Investigating and responding to alerts, including conducting reviews of client accounts and where necessary following up with clients and/or escalating to the Compliance Manager
- Day-to-day compliance monitoring including managing alerts, and internal and external queries
- Conducting customer interactions by email and telephone where there are indicators of related harm
- Conducting affordability assessments to determine whether a client’s deposits are affordable and requesting further information where necessary
- Carrying out and analysing KYC checks including enhanced due diligence checks and Document Verification checks on clients
- Assisting the Head of Compliance with on-going projects to support the smooth running of the Compliance function
For this Customer Compliance Support Advisor role the employer is looking for:
- Have excellent attention to detail and have strong written and oral communication skills
- Have experience of interacting with Customers over the telephone and call handling
- Be sensitive, professional, and resilient when conducting customer interactions
- Be discreet when dealing with confidential requests
- Be intellectually curious and have the confidence to follow up compliance concerns using your own initiative
- Have proven organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure
- Have the ability to develop good relationships with other departments and with clients
