Part-Time Account Assistant
Location: Worcester
Hours: 24 hours per week, Monday-Friday (flexible)
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high level of accuracy, and a strong background in finance administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily cash posting to Xero.
Processing sales and purchase ledger invoices.
Producing accounts payable list on a weekly basis.
Managing customer and supplier queries via email and phone.
Reconciling supplier statements.
Scanning, filing, and logging accounts documents.
Managing credit control functions to ensure timely customer payments (follow-up by phone and email).
Processing monthly employee expenses.
Performing ad hoc accounting-related tasks as required.Requirements:
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
AAT Level 3 qualified.
Competent in Excel and general IT relating to accounting software.
Ability to work independently in an office environment.
Strong process-minded approach to tasks.
Experience in managing both sales and purchase ledgers.
