Cellar Hand Night Shifts
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for England's most prestigious wine producer based in West Sussex.
They are currently seeking a Cellar Hand to join their Night Shift Production team.
PN: there will be a phased training program which will require you to work day shifts before transition to the night shift hours (estimated to take 3 months)
The Role
The Cellar Hand is responsible to ensure high quality wine production through the efficient execution of cellar operations under the direction of the Cellar Supervisor, Master and the Winemakers.

Carrying out all winery production working with wine tanks and bottle stock

To deputise for the Senior Cellar Hand as operator of the disgorging line when required

Assist with train junior staff and new starters on winemaking tasks to the point where they could work with supervision.

Able to operation Padovan earth filter and heat exchanger

To maintain a safe, clean and tidy work environment at all times

Work within standard operating procedures and/or risk assessments
Experience:
-
1+ years’ experience as a cellar hand, in harvest or through education such as Viticulture and Oenology degree
-
Able to lift weigh of up to 20kg
-
Flexible to work additional hours during harvest season

Good numeracy and literacy skills
-
Being able to full out checking reports
-
Positive personality
-
Able to accurately follow detailed instructions
