On behalf of our customer, a world leading aerospace component distributor, we are currently recruiting a Customer Support Representative to join their team in Basingstoke. Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, the Customer Support Representative will have the ability to adapt quickly into a new fast paced environment, work on their own initiative, be self-motivated and reliable.
Experience & Skills
- Conversant with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and telephone skills required
- Awareness of multi-currency processes (GBP and $)
- Keen Eye for detail and high level of accuracy at all times is required
- High level of numeracy and literacy
- Able to use own initiative, training tools and company procedures
- Ability to learn in-house software systems
- Knowledge of export compliance and logistics would be advantageous, although training will be given
- Ability to work within a small team under pressure and as an individual
Duties & Responsibilities
- Designated Account responsibility, dealing directly with our Manufacturing partner
- Quote and Data entry
- Manual Order entry, Order Processing & Order acknowledgements
- In-house communication with New York, Sales Managers and Product Managers
- Setup of new customer accounts, processing Application Forms, End User Statements
- Running weekly systems reports and performing updates to Sales Orders where necessary
- Management of weekly Order Books and Shipping reports from Manufacturers (within the UK)
- Responsible for promoting excellent customer satisfaction at all times
