As a Purchasing Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that purchasing operations align with compliance and company standards, particularly in Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards. You will collaborate across departments to ensure seamless purchasing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee purchasing department activities, set KPIs, and monitor targets
Negotiate prices and terms, and arrange regular supplier meetings
Ensure correct documentation is sent to new suppliers and clients
Develop and maintain SGPs for the Purchasing Department, including quarterly reports for the Managing DirectorTo be a successful Purchasing Manager you will need:
Experience: At least five years in Supply Chain Management, preferably with a chemical background
Skills: Competent computer skills and the ability to manage multiple projects successfully
