Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be instrumental in leading the Sales and Marketing division leading business Growth. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients through a multitude of channels including 3rd party data sources, our internal database, LinkedIn, industry events, and other sources. Utilise cold calling and a multitude of online and offline outreach strategies to initiate contact with prospects with the goal of booking meetings.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and follow-up. Manage and update customer information, interactions, and opportunities in Salesforce CRM.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute multi-channel sales strategies to nurture leads, achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. Collaborate with the projects team to identify key accounts and opportunities for expansion.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Use market insights to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies.
- Pipeline Management: Manage sales pipeline effectively using Salesforce or similar CRM tools. Track progress, update records, and generate reports to provide visibility into sales performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with management and projects teams to develop new initiatives for marketing, services development, and client retention practices to ensure alignment and support business objectives.
Skills and Experience
More than 3-years experience in business development or sales in a B2B capacity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Driven to prospecting new leads, utilising networking, calling, online and offline strategies, LinkedIn, email marketing platforms/methodologies, and other sales technology solutions
Success in developing effective strategies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a results-focused environment.
Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
