We are working with a fantastic market leading business in Harlow, whom are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support their creative team.
This is a permanent position, onsite 5 days a week with the option of working one day a week at home after a probationary period.
If you are an expert communicator of creating online and digital written content, that can build trust and loyalty with their readers while engaging and informing them, then this could be the role for you.
Duties:
· Create engaging, written marketing content for a wide range of email campaigns for the UK and internationally
· Develop content for their Free Hub, landing pages, blogs, articles, seasonal catalogues and company websites
· Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content
· Create compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of our target audience
· Identify customers’ needs and recommend new content to address gaps in the company’s current content
· Organise, modify and update existing content
· Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies
· Ensure that content meets the company needs, and follows their in-house style guide
· Collaborate with co-workers and come up with fresh, creative content ideas, keeping their audience in mind
· Work with the graphic design team to ensure a user-friendly experience
· Manage a busy workload according to deadline
· Analyse data and analytics, and seek to increase reader engagement and retention
· Adhere to SEO and industry best practices
· Any other related task
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing or related field
· Minimum 2 years of experience as a Marketing Administrator or similar role
· 3+ years writing for a B2C and B2C audiences
· Proven experience in email marketing
· Excellent command of the English language
· Proven content writing or copywriting experience
· Excellent writing, copy editing and proofreading experience
· Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
· The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
· Highly organised and detail orientated
· The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Experience in the arts and crafts industry and/or a personal interest in the subject desirable
