Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager
Location: Hull, with once monthly travel to Scotland and Wales
Salary: Up to £60,000

We pride ourselves on our efficient logistics operations and are looking for a dedicated Logistics Operations Manager to join our dynamic team due to expansion.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily transport operations to ensure efficiency and reliability.

Develop and implement transport strategies to reduce costs.

Maintain and manage fleet operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Ensure all transport activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Monitor and report on compliance performance, implementing corrective actions where necessary.

Stay up-to-date with changes in transport regulations and industry best practices.

Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, space optimisation, and workflow management.

Implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to improve productivity.

Ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of orders.

Develop and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Conduct regular health and safety audits and risk assessments.

Provide training and support to staff on health and safety practices.
Qualifications and Skills:

Must hold a Transport Management CPC.

IOSH or NEBOSH certification is required.

Proven experience in logistics, transport, and warehouse management.

Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to travel to Scotland and Wales once per month.
