Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for an Electrical Site Manager on a starting 6-12 month contract, based UK Wide
The role falls OUTSIDE IR35
This will be a long-term opportunity as it will be acting as Electrical Site Manager covering multiple consecutive projects across the UK of varying sizes and complexities.
The Electrical Site Manager will oversee and manage electrical (E, C&I installation) projects in across the UK. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing electrical installations within several sectors including, Processing, Pharma, Water Treatment, Plants, Industrial Warehouses etc.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Oversight: Manage and oversee all on-site electrical activities, ensuring the project progresses according to plan, within budget, and meets quality standards.
· Coordination: Liaise with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
· Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high standards of safety and quality.
· Planning: Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation. Anticipate and address potential issues before they impact the project timeline.
· Supervision: Lead and mentor on-site electrical teams, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, material usage, and any changes to the project scope.
· Problem-Solving: Quickly and effectively resolve any issues or challenges that arise on-site, minimizing disruption and keeping the project on track.
· Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns promptly.
Experience/Qualifications Required:
· 5-10 years experience minimum in Electrical Site Manager roles
· Experience of managing E, C & I installation
· Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance.
· Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
· Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing and motivating a team.
· Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
