Our client based just outside of Lincoln is an established provider of unique food manufacturing hygiene solutions and they have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team as soon as possible!
The role is permanent, working full time hours of 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday.
The annual salary for this position is £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including day to day transactions, reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.
Duties of the role will include: -
· Accurately record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments
· Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable ledgers to ensure accurate records
· Maintain an organised and up to date filing system for all financial documents
· Generate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements and cash flow statements
· Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations
· Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and explanations
· Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
· Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring all expenditures are within budget
· Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and payments to vendors
· Generate and send invoices to customers, track payments and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable
· Utilise accounting software to maintain financial records and generate reports
The successful candidate should have experience within bookkeeping and finance, have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
