About The Role
Morrison Energy Services are currently looking to recruit a Graduate Project Manager to work on our UK Power Networks & SSEN Contracts in the South east of England
As a graduate, you will be supported to build upon the skills and knowledge you have gained during your university studies. You will get the opportunity to be involved in a broad range of activities, with increasing responsibility as you develop your technical skills and experience.
Morrison Energy Services is proud to be a key partner in the UKPN Alliance, delivering substation build and refurbishment works across the East of England including design, project management, cable installation, building construction, jointing, switchgear, bunding, commissioning, decommissioning and demolition
As a Graduate Project Manager what kind of activities will I be involved in?
Day to day management of site operatives subcontractors and site work
Development and implementation of Safety documentation including Health and Safety Plans, Method Statements and Risk Assessments
Procurement of materials using computer based systems
Notify line manager of possible changes in project scope and keep suitable contemporary records
Fulfilling the role of Temporary Works Supervisor where required
Ensure full compliance on projects with all Morrison procedures and current legislation
Client liaison including arranging progress meetings, pre-start meetings and client audits.
Monitor and ensure project is delivered within cost and programme
Identify and resolve design issues raised on site
Planning and programming of current and future works on site
Subcontractor monitoring and auditing.
Deliver complex High Voltage projects across multiple sites
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
Construction related degree
UK driving licence.Graduate Development Programme
